I did many sketched versions of this cover. Even though this was the cover featuring the monster from the issue before, it was actually the first time I drew him in the comic. Hence, the slight differences from the interior art.

Another cover with many sketch versions. I think what we were going for was an Adam and Eve-type image. With R'amey Holl (the female) feeding Guy Gardner the mysterious and forbidden power disk. Ooooohhh... Also, as you may notice (as often happens in a solicit image , like this) R'ameys skin color was changed to orange..

The first of a three part story written by this covers inker" Keith Champagne. He did an outstanding job on both! Usually I'm given some instruction as to what Pete (my editor) wants for the cover. This time I wasn't. I had one idea and presented it to him. He liked it, and I love how it turned out. Striking and creepy.

I like this cover too. Moose does an awesome job every month coloring. He doesn't disappoint here! Actually looking at it I realize I may have ripped off an earlier cover I did for Noble Causes #2. I must be running out of things to draw.

I love drawing Stel (bottom right) They wanted to update his look. Make him more streamlined. But I like the clunky bucket head and Robbie the robot arms. Also, Another Moose masterpiece

I saw an old World War II movie once . It was about a group of fighter pilots who end up getting killed in action. By the end of the movie you see them walking off into the bright light of Heaven. That image stuck with me as I drew this cover. Its like they are coming out the other side,
